| Electromagnetism and the Body The Human Bioelectrical Field Professor Harold Saxton-Burr, working at Yale
University in the 1930's, discovered that all living creatures have a measurable
electromagnetic field surrounding them. This field changes when there are
physical or even emotional changes in the body. Thousands of painstaking
experiments over several decades proved to him that the field is primary and the
physical body is secondary - that is, the field is of a controlling nature. This
means that changes in the field are later followed by changes in the physical
cells of the body. Several other leading scientists have worked
along similar lines since then, including Dr Robert Becker, who was nominated
for a Nobel Prize for his work on the effects of electromagnetic radiation on
living tissues. By applying controlled electrical currents which modify these
fields, Dr Becker was even able to partially regenerate missing limbs in rats,
thus showing conclusively that the actual physical changes follow the change in
the electromagnetic field. Georges Lakhovsky, a Russian scientist working in
France, has been able to cause many physical changes, including both the
suppression and the stimulation of cancer, by influencing the body's field. The
strength of the fields needed to cause changes is very small: far smaller than
the strength of the fields to which we routinely subject ourselves in our modern
day to day living. The workplace is a particularly rich source of these fields,
notably from computers, VDUs, lighting and photocopying machines. The Earth's Electromagnetic Fields The earth has its own electromagnetic fields, but
because mankind has evolved over thousands of years in these fields, he is not
normally adversely affected by them. In fact, the Schumann Waves, which are
pulsations of energy between the core of the earth and the ionosphere are
essential to life, and form a basis for the "timekeeping" of
biological systems - it has recently been shown that even each cell-division is
timed according to these pulses. When the first astronauts went up into space,
they suffered disorientation and malaise caused by the lack of Schumann Waves.
Since then all manned spacecraft have had artificial Schumann Wave generators
built into them. There are two main things to be remembered about
the earth's fields: although they are comparatively weak, they are still able to
influence living creatures, and they are quite regular, pulsing at frequencies
that we have grown used to. Electromagnetic Pollution In the last 50 years our environment has become a
seething mass of electromagnetic smog. Mankind has changed the electromagnetic
background more in these last few years than in all previous history. Estimates
vary, but most experts agree that back-ground radio-frequency electromagnetic
radiation (EMR) has been increased by between 100 million and 200 million times
over that reaching us naturally from the sun. The human body is a master at
adapting to circumstances, but there are limits! It is no wonder that so few of
us ever feel really fit and well. In the modern workplace and home the levels of
EMR are considerably higher than average background levels. For example, a
standard VDU emits seven different types of EMR: X-rays, ultraviolet, infrared,
pulsating VLF (very low frequency), radio frequency, ELF (extremely low
frequency) and static electricity! The Body and Electromagnetic Radiation The immune system is responsible for protecting
us from all external attack, including that from electromagnetic radiation.
Soviet work has shown that after brief exposure to EMR there is a short period
of increased immune system competence. This is the normal reaction of a healthy
immune system to stress. If the EMR is continual or repeated however, then
resistance declines below normal and eventually becomes exhausted. Several
well-known diseases, such as peptic ulcer and hypertension, result directly from
this stage, but the most worrying result is a decrease in the body's ability to
fight infection and cancer. These effects have been found in experiments at
levels of EMR of about one twentieth of the nominal American safety standard. Despite ever increasing standards of medical care
and hygiene, new diseases appear with monotonous regularity - most of them (for
example Legionnaires Disease, Genital Herpes and AIDS) being directly related to
a compromised immune system. As early as 1971, two scientists at the USSR
Institute of Labour, Hygiene and Occupational Diseases had identified a
comprehensive set of symptoms related to EMR. The first signs are low blood
pressure and slow pulse, followed by chronic excitation of the sympathetic
nervous system (stress syndrome) and high blood pressure. This phase often
includes headaches, dizziness, eye pain, sleeplessness, irritability, anxiety,
stomach pain, nervous tension, inability to concentrate, hair loss, and an
increased incidence of appendicitis, cataracts, reproductive problems and
cancer. The chronic symptoms are eventually succeeded by crises of adrenal
exhaustion and blockage of the coronary artery and heart attack. What can we do about it? The obvious solution is to avoid going near to
any EMR emitting devices, or to screen them. This would be a partial solution,
but still would not protect us from the background EMR from radio and TV
broadcasts, radars, landing systems, power lines, etc. It is also very
expensive, awkward and inconvenient to apply suitable screening and totally
unrealistic for most of us to avoid being close to EMR emitting devices. We have been working in this field for the last
ten years, and have found that it is possible to prevent many of the effects of
EMR on the body, without actually screening off the EMR itself. We achieve this
by using micro-crystals which we have programmed with specific
computer-generated frequencies. When these are brought within the body's field,
they have a strengthening and stabilising effect on it, thus preventing the
symptoms of the EMR Stress from developing. We have incorporated the
microcrystals into a credit card sized device, which we call the Charged Card MD2. This is simply carried in a wallet, handbag or pocket by day,
and left at the bedside at night. As long as it is within two feet of the body
it exerts its influence and protects. The changes in energy levels can be shown
using sophisticated bioelectrical measuring instruments such as the Biotron, and
also by Kirlian photography. Article: Electro-magnetic
pollution probably causes more harm to man than all other forms of pollution put
