Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. There are 22 known amino acids of which eight have been deemed essential. Broad Spectrum Amino Acids contains seven of the essential amino acids. Use of the eighth one, L-Tryptophan is no longer permitted in the UK and therefore must be obtained from foods such as fish, chicken and algae.

Broad Spectrum Amino Acids can be used as a supplement for protein malabsorption and is ideal for individuals following inadequate dietary regimes, or in convalescence after protracted illness. Provides seventeen different amino acids in stable and preferred form and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
