This product may have the following benefits
(please
read this important notice concerning supplement medical claims)
May help symptoms as follows:
- Maintains healthy intestinal
flora (bacteria)
- Antifungal - thrush, athlete's
foot, ringworm
- Antibacterial
- Slimming aid
Molkosan is a naturally lactofermented
whey which is concentrated during processing, to ensure a high content
of minerals, especially calcium, potassium, phosphorus and L(+) lactic
acid.
L(+) lactic acid gives the product a
pH of 2.7 (very acidic) which combines with its antiseptic action to
inhibit bacterial and fungal infections.
The yeast Candida albicans is present
in every individual. It normally lives harmlessly in the gastrointestinal
tract.
Antibiotics are often responsible for
upsetting the balance of the intestinal flora by suppressing the normal
intestinal bacteria. This provides an opportunity for Candida overgrowth.
The antifungal activity of Molkosan is due to its acidity and buffering
capability. It is able to re-establish the normal balance of organisms
in the digestive tract.
This antifungal activity is also useful
topically against vaginal thrush, athlete's foot and ringworm.
The ability of orotic acid to enhance
the digestive and metabolic processes makes Molkosan useful as an aid
to a slimming programme.
*The lactose in Molkosan is present in
its natural form, which does not cause digestive problems for lactose
intolerant or lactose sensitive people.

Herbs
For thousands of years, herbs have been used to help maintain many aspects of health
and wellness. Today, research and technology are bringing herbalism into the modern
age – with improved extraction, standardization, and farming methods. Clinical studies
are beginning to validate herbal therapies, so even some in the medical community
are starting to accept them.
Many of today’s medicines
were originally derived from botanicals. Aspirin once came from the white willow
tree, quinine from the bark of the cinchona tree, and digitalis from foxglove. Herbs
are still the basis for Chinese medicine and are important constituents of many
European natural remedies. As Hippocrates said, “Let they food by thy medicine,
thy medicine be thy food”.
Some of the herbs available
on this site are wild-crafted – grown in the wild – while others are meticulously
cultivated on herb farms.
