Nutramedix Adrenal Support is a
proprietary blend of the extracts of five adaptogenic and tonic herbs -
Schisandra, Astragulus, Georgian Snow Rose, Wild Yam and Ginseng, designed to
support the healthy functioning of the adrenal glands.

chinesisis) a woody vine that is native to China, Russia and Korea, the
berries of which have been used for centuries as a tonic.

Astragalus (Astragalus
membranaceus) root is also found in China - like ginseng, the root is
harvested when several years old, and is prized for its adaptogenic
properties.

Georgian Snow rose
(Rhododendron caucasicum) root has been used by the people of Georgia for
hundreds of years as a tonic herb.

Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa)
root is native to North America, South America and Asia, and is popularly
used to treat hormonal imbalance.

American Ginseng (Panax
quinquefolius) is related to Asian ginseng and was used by Native Americans
as a tonic and restorative.
Usage
Put 5-10 drops in a glass and add
120ml (4oz) of water and wait one minute before drinking. Take 3 times per day,
before food, or as recommended by your practitioner.

Adrenal glands
The adrenal glands are two small, triangular-shaped glands that sit on
top of the kidneys, high up inside the back of the abdominal wall.
Each gland has an inner and outer layer that have separate functions:
- the inner area (the medulla) produces the hormone
adrenaline, and
- the outer layer (the cortex) produces steroid hormones and
small amounts of the male and female sex hormones,
testosterone and oestrogen
