About headaches & Migraine

Causes of headache and migraine can include low blood sugar, stress and tension, dehydration, tight muscles in neck and shoulder, constipation, allergy and dehydration. 

Nutrition Facts & Diet Advice for Headaches & Migraine.

Consider the following nutrition guidelines:

Eat little and often to keep blood sugar stable.

Drink at least 1½ litres of spring or filtered water per day. 

Slowly reduce coffee, until you have completely eliminated it – sudden coffee withdrawal can cause headaches for up to 4 days. 

Reduce or eliminate tea, and avoid cola and chocolate. 

Eat a high-fibre diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables. 

Avoid salt.
