When you add an item to your Shopping Cart from the site, you will automatically be taken to a secure page where
the information is stored. This is known as an SSL Secured network and means that all customer information and transactions are protected by SSL Security which is authenticated by Verisign Incorporated certificates. Your order retrieval is also protected by the same SSL network.
All the orders that you submit are always sent through secured SSL browser streams. This is reflected by the "key" icon in your
browser. In the case of Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will see a 'padlock'
sign on the right of the bottom toolbar. (This will not be present at other
times). With Netscape, you will see a 'padlock' in the bottom left corner of
your screen. Whilst browsing the site the padlock will be open, but when you
visit your Shopping Cart or confirm your order, you will notice that the padlock
closes into a locked position. Within both browsers the closed padlock indicates
that you are providing information under SSL Security which indicates that you
do so in complete confidentiality. |
